How pricing works

We don't print prices, because two yards on the same street can need different plans. This is what we look at, and what you get in writing.

  • What decides the price

Every yard is quoted for what is in it. Two houses on the same street can need different plans.

    • Lot size and how much of it we treat

    • Shade, brush, ivy and wooded edge

    • Whether ticks are a worry or only mosquitoes

    • Standing water we can't remove

    • How many visits fit your season

  • What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't

The written quote lists every visit we plan for the season, and what each one covers.

    • Included: the walk-through, a one-page yard map, every planned visit and its visit sheet

    • Included: the terms for coming back between visits

    • Not included: indoor pests, lawn care, tree and brush removal

  • What happens at the walk-through

We walk the property with you, mark the areas we would treat, check for standing water and ask where your family sits, plays and gardens. Nothing is sprayed that day unless you ask us to start.

  • When you get the number

You get the quote in writing after the walk-through, with each visit listed. You say yes or no, and nothing starts until you say yes.

  • How and when you pay

You pay per visit or for the season, whichever you pick at the walk-through. The quote says which, and when each payment is due.

  • If the yard or the season changes

Adding a party treatment or a new garden bed changes the quote, and we write the change down before we do it. If the season is cut short by weather, the quote shows what you owe for the visits we made.

Quotes cover one property. Renewing for next season is your call each year.

Questions

Pricing questions

How much does it cost?

It depends on the yard, so we quote after a walk-through. The size of the lot, how much shade and brush it has, whether ticks are a concern and how many visits fit your season all change the number. The quote is in writing and lists each visit.

How often do you come?

Every 21 days, from about mid-April to late October, which comes to about nine visits. A cold or very wet stretch can move a visit, and we text you the evening before.

Do you offer a plant-oil-based option?

Yes, on request. We use it where it works and tell you if it needs closer visits, because it works differently from the standard product. Results vary.
